Crusty
I like how this one turned out.. Catching it at the rite time to chatter took me some practice.. a lot of fun ... between work, our wedding and buying a house, we have not had much time to do much clay work.. Ugh. Hope everyone is doing well.
ChenowethArts
Gracious @Crusty! This one didn't just turn out, it burst forth with drama, inside and out! Nicely Done! It is almost as though the inside treatment and the exterior texture are having a conversation. My best wishes to the bride and groom, -Paul

Benzine
Very nice work. Chattering is one technique I have no (purposeful) experience with. Might have to start practicing and add it to my repertoire. Also, congratulations and good luck with the wedding, not to mention buying a house. Ah, life in the "real world". Things they kept telling us were coming, when we were in school. Turns out, they weren't just making up stories...
synj00
I started it by mistake and realized that it could be a useful tool. It does take time to get it right, and I'm nowhere near there. This one looks like a fantastic success. Congrats on the wedding and new place!

High Bridge Pottery
Did you chatter the inside? Love that glaze in there.
PRankin
I've been experimenting with chattering also and waiting for the finished pieces to be fired in the nearby college studio kiln. I never thought about chattering the inside so now I have to try it. Your bowl is very beautiful and dynamic. Congratulations on the wedding. Babs
DId you oxide/stain the inside and then glaze or is this just straight glaze? Lovely pots, good luck with everything.
Crusty
Thanks everyone for the likes and wedding wishes.. Were excited !!! High Bridge- yes I chattered the inside, its not as deep.. I been practicing on the depth at certain points on the bowls etc. as long as I don't get to deep on the inside, it should be easy to clean... Babs- its straight glaze poured in and brushed as even as I could get it.. I did lose the dark blue specs by going thicker.. But I got more flow. its give and take I guess...
