Guest JBaymore
I was thinking this posting was relating to "getting older". I'm getting up there .... but...... nope... don't need a "walker" yet. best, ..............john
Joseph Fireborn
lol@john. i thought the same thing. i was like ok, now this is off topic, or someone in a walker is wanting to do pottery.
oldlady
i figured that anyone who knows what he or she wants will recognize it this way. not trying to sell anything, even an aid to mobility.
Cavy Fire Studios
HAHAHA omg I totally thought it was a mobility aid... I was gonna say that I'll prolly need one in about ten years!

Celia UK
Me too Jolieo - no idea! My first thought was a dog walker! Not sure where that came from as I'm not a doggie person at all.
Guest JBaymore
A Walker pugmill. They are an older design... and a lot of us REALLY like them. No longer made. best, ...............john
Benzine
The Walker is a pug mill with a large hopper, which is what I like most about it. You could throw some scraps in there one day, close the lid, and not have to worry about pugging, until you were ready. It also has a reverse switch, so if the clay came out too wet or dry, hit revers and let it mix a bit longer. It's not a de-airing pug mill, but I never found that to be an issue, as I wedge everything anyway.

Denice
I blew my knee out last week and was thinking a mobility walker also, but when I read the post I knew it was a Walker Pug. Forum had a twilight zone moment. Denice
Benzine
If I lived closer oldlady, I probably would have contacted you. It wouldn't be for my studio, but my classroom. For recycling classroom scraps, Walkers are tops. Why is it, that much of the used pottery equipment I see up for sale, comes from Florida? oldlady
every corner has a thrift shop, too. (avoid the ones spelled shoppe, the prices are doubled.) because so many of us old codgers move to florida and die there, our stuff is left for some ungrateful child to "get rid of" like some junk that same child left at home when he/she went out into the cold, cold world.
