resting after the wood firing and before demos by Trey Hill of U of Montana and my old friend, Josh DeWeese of Montana State. Love being back in Montana
Long day yesterday. Shifts for firing began at 9 pm. Great crew firing the kiln. Should be a good productive way to spend a few days firing the kiln.

tis is a first for me, Threw in the morning trimmed in the afternoon and loaded that evening. Had to get the firing done. Lost three pieces out of about 50. But now I have enough to fill my allotted amount for the up coming wood firing. So happy to be getting some finished pieces soon. It has been a while since I broke down my studio in Nov.The electricity was connected to my kiln shed last Thurs. All kilns are functioning after their 1780 mile journey north.

Fired my first bisque in Red Lodge last night. After several different delays due to online missing attachments on both sides, myself and the electric company, I finally have power to the kilns, Just in time to prepare for next week's wood firing with the Red Lodge clay Center.

Firing my first bisque in my new kiln shed. Wiring happened today. Loaded late this afternoon and firing a tube stacked load for the wood firing happening next week. Each person is allocated 18 cu. ft in the train kiln.
Got rid of 2 rubbermaid storage containers of porcelain, plus boxed raku clay and Armadillo porcelain. I have clay waiting for me in red Lodge, so I don't need to take more 1800 miles. Moving sucks.
