Hi Denice, thanks for writing. I think I will just try the mid fire Mayco glazes I have and test them out on myself, first. There were many good answers to my questions, but I will just have to try this or that. Wouldn't it be nice to have a reply button to write to people here that would also show what we said. I can't find anything like that. Do you have a reply button? Marko

I started studying ceramics about 5 years ago and was immediately hooked. I primarily make sculptures, although I like to make semi-sculptural containers. I'm always looking for interesting textures and visual effects.

Thanks Marcia. The old one is a pic of the top of a hiking staff...a face carved in wood. The new one is a handblown glass marble my late son made in an Italian glassblowing style called "reticello".
