I'm trying to find a relatively recent thread where people were talking about adding things to glaze to make it brushable, and things like acrylic medium, glycerine and floetrol were mentioned. Anyone remember which one it

Sounds like it's time to stand in line for some free thanksgiving groceries. Charities have been giving them away for a week here. Nothing wrong with getting a little help. Denice

I need to stop trying the combo of glossy glaze over a semi-matt. They always come out rubbish no mater how many times I think it is going to work...

Omg..I just laughed myself into a ruptured spleen. :D Just last week, we got down to 7F at 8:45am. SEVEN. DEGREES. Never you mind the wind! :D As for hand cream, I only purchase brands that do not do horrible experiments on animals and use icky nasty chemicals. And unlike Burt's Bees, they don't belong to a huge parent company that asphyxiates puppies with househ...

It was a good (long) day. Fired the gass kiln. Finished one bisque kiln. Fired a decal batch. Loaded another bisque. And for fun did a raku firing. I think I'm getting the hang of this :)

This is one thing, yes :). All my friends and neighbours are wanting to see the new stuff, so I may just have an impromptu open house, and post a few items on etsy. I have a bigger sale Dec 12-14, and I have better hopes for that one.

What are good websites to order ceramic supplies from? Which tend to have cheaper prices?

I go through clay-king.com, because their shipping prices are the lowest. Glaze is spendy to ship, because it's really heavy.
