I think it is weird science day. I have had these ideas for oddity glazes rolling around in my head for a month now. Good day to test them.

In my non-clay world, I deal with hackers and data security...it is no contest, clay is much more fun even when it is frustrating :)

Yea, first test, ^04, fired great. I rebuilt my small kiln, Paragon A-82B, new bricks, elements and controller rewired with new infinite switches. Now I go for the gold, ^6.

Throwing tomorrow for the first time in months. I want to make a million things but I'm going to keep it small so I don't overdo it. So excited!!

Breathe in, breathe out. And start. You will do just fine. I have no doubt you will be happy at the end of a good productive day.

Instead of throwing yesterday I hung shelves and moved furniture in my son's room. (??) So I am throwing today. I'm very excited. We broke our last mass produced bowl and I REFUSE to buy more so that is going to happen first today. I'm not going to do a crazy amount of finish work so I can make four of them without causing myself any issues later in the week.

Glaze application skills going backwards. Or is it expectation going forwards faster?

Somewhat slow going, since the guy assisting me with my web design/development is doing it pro bono (i.e. no charge-he owes me LOL) but it's off to a good start and I am psyched about making a functional site with an online store.

mark, have always had them but when my cataract surgery was done in 02 they mostly disappeared. until an accident when i hit the tree going over the edge of the road. i think the surgeon stirred up the stuff inside the eye.

I'm a sad guinea today...I just found out the founder of The Art Spirit gallery, my favorite place, passed away on Dec. 31st from ALS. Guys, he was so awesome. He really liked my work & encouraged me to submit it... I'm really sad...

You can be sad but also thankful that he is no longer trapped in his body. I have had nine relative die of ALS and we are always grateful when they have been set free.

Denice ... nine? Ohhhh. :*( It's a prison at the end. I can't imagine. My grandmother had dementia and my mom basically lost her ten years before she died. But at least my grandma had no idea.
