The sky is falling! The sky is falling!

We've been firing the kiln nightly lately as we prep for our first markets.

I guess we'll find out then if our stuff has any favor with the general public.

The longer I'm here, the more I learn that I'll never be a good potter...

not that I was trying. That is "their" standard...which means nothing to me.

Whose standards do you live by?

I slab roll my clay and then cut out the peices using patterns I drew...then assemble them. I try to do >something

As always.....the good folks here make up for those who are quick to critique others whom they don't know.

Thanks Marcia. The old one is a pic of the top of a hiking staff...a face carved in wood. The new one is a handblown glass marble my late son made in an Italian glassblowing style called "reticello".
