    Or, $36/$49 +shipping/handling. I just made a batch of 50 small and 50 large.

They are relatively easy to make; the small does 3-4 pieces of bacon, the large does 6-8. Small uses 1.75# and the lg uses 2.5#. Open like you normally would, then instead of pulling from at the bat, leave a 1/4" or so for the "foot/catchbasin". Dont make them too tall for the microwave.

I TOOK THE LEAP. My poppies are now proper California Poppy orange. I just had my open studio and I was absolutely terrified that changing over from peach to orange would keep them from selling. On the contrary, I sold more than I have ever sold before! I'm delighted because the orange California Poppies are my favorite.

Very nice, was that thrown as a single piece? Love the flared rim, great shape.

if you remove the burner after turning it off, what flame are you worried about?  never having been in charge of raku firing, only a helper, i cannot remember anything flaming except once it was put into a metal post firing container with the lid not yet put on top. (that is what i was doing)

The raku kiln fro Brackers is much like this design. David Sturm, the designer, has the flu over the burner port rather than in the lid. I fired some of these during my workshop at Brackers and also during the taping of my dvd at Acers. It is a good design and you can use the flu to watch the glazes.

All so beautiful. I love the plate mostly. But these 3 forms work together well. Especially with the glaze. Well done.

Yep- that is my home-made prospected-for glaze that I had tested & was so glad that it passed the tests!

When first on my Island, the litle plane would buzz the sheep and Kangaroos off the paddock and land.
No signs, few old tyres to mark the "runway'

saw this and laughed a few minutes after you put it up.  still laughing.  remember sitting on a car watching planes land at Reagan airport, alexandria, va.   the vibration alone would have flattened a sign like this one.  still laughing.
