Biking around lagoon with dog, koala in middle of road, dog needs restraining, koala latches onto my leg, and sinks teeth into right knee, teeth either sid eof my patella,.... claws deep into my calf muscle, prised the thingie off woith ma pottinig hands...

Replacing elements this week, along with some element holders and bricks, One of the pigtails is also being replaced after a failed bisque. Hmmm one blow up also. First one in many years, humidity!

It's only humid in Tucson for maybe 15 minutes after it rains. Then the ground soaks it up and it's back to a dry heat.

Recieved my first commissioned work today. A large tile mural at City Hall depicting city history. The high school art class and local college art class will be involved. I get to mix in my beloved crystalline pieces as well.

my mugs were getting too dry to handle so I put them in my magic rehydration box. Now they are too wet to handle.

No plaster. It's just an air tight Tupperware box I got from target.

It's a Paragon. I've fired it twice so far, once on slow and once medium. I bought it used and so far I'm pleased with it.

Almost a full day of brushing underglazes. It is still a challenge to me to find the right mix of slips, stains, underglazes, and sprayed on top glazes. Hoping to fire later this week.

I've already fired kilns 3 times this year. Usually bisque twice and glaze twice per year and that's it. I'm cranking stuff out this year!'.

Just loaded, unloaded, re-loaded my little test kiln three times! Can you tell I am trying to jam in a last firing?
