I don't know how long you've been at this but don't compare yourself to high production potters.

Whenever I do that I feel like a huge failure but the truth is I don't enjoy that kind of work anyway. I like working in batches of 2-6.

Hi, haven't made in awhile buts yes still making, never used mark and daves .... Who makes that.... It's been about a year since throwing porcelain, I had it figured out second day....clay was too wet day one. And it took a day for "it" to click....... I'm throwing a modified Cushing/Galloway body.

Daves is a Laguna porcelain body-you can get it at Axners in FL.Its not as bright white as some.

I like the wiggle wire bottoms. I'm usually all for a trimmed foot, but I do like that alternative. Looks like you will be busy glazin'.

I was shooting for 100 cups for a trunk show given just under a months notice. I thnk I'm shy of 80.. I realiize I'm no production potter. 20 cups max per,sitting was all I could muster. The wiggle wire while I like was subconcious decision not to trim.then I limited the number do cup...

Tea pot is in salvage bucket.. It could have been a flower pot, I was kinda flustered at myself though..

You must have hands like leather to throw with the granite chunks. Nice work!

I have no doubt it is. I'll leave the clay mixing up to someone else. Reclaiming is as close as I want to get...
