Wow, really sorry I missed your comment/question lady, I'm off and on the forum and it got buried while I was off on other things. What's next I'm testing some new glazes and it will be just another piece for my gallery. I have a group of clients/friends who have homes large enough to accommodate these big pieces and they have been asking to purchase them but I've been reluctant to sell for a lot of reasons, mostly not ready yet.

the piece is 42" with the lid in place and the lid nestles into the vase 3 or 4 inches, the combined weight of both pieces of bisque is roughly 10 1/2 pounds. I had a basic plan that day on what I wanted to throw but I allow myself to wander as the form progresses, sometimes too, the clay will direct me on a different journey. my biggest problem is how little I've been in the studio the past few years throwing only a few times a month if that, this next year I'll put clay at a higher priority, it's difficult to throw well only doing it sporadically.

Love this concept- very inspiring. I am wanting to do something along these lines as well, but I fear my throwing techniques are not up to your level!
