glazenerd 1,807 Posted March 16, 2017 Report Share The concentric crack on the bottom piece is aligned where this piece made contact with the kiln shelf. The exposed area of this piece cooled at a different rate than where it made contact with a shelf. You need to control the cooling to correct it, or put wadding under it to even out the heat.
