Reminds me of the angel fish I had as a teen. Interesting textures: moon-scape. First two years I started messing with clay, threw more than I could count back into the bowl. It is part of the learning curve: write it down as a lesson that leads to success.

yes, you are learning a skill, not making a product.  once you have developed the skill, the fish will swim.

It will be a great wall piece once the fins decide to stay on!
