Alternate use for currie grid tile found!

I didn't realize how useful the grid could be for testing a pallete of glazes with other brushes marks and things over and under, as well as testing really thick and thin next to each other. I sat down and made a grid on paper and then went through each glaze I had that I thought would go well together and tested a lot of new ideas I had with some old reliable glazes. I love every tile!

what are the dimensions of the grid?  have you found a way to stack blocks in rows and slap a slab over them to make the whole thing at once?  like using upside down ice cube trays.

Yes. This is my old tile mold. My new tile mold has post on the 4 corners and 4 spots in the middle to stack them. I will post it when I roll one out in the next few days.

They are about 7 tiles long and 5 tiles wide the tiles are about 1 inch wide, so around 8.5 inchs long and 6.5 inches wide. Somewhere abouts depending on how much extra clay you leave.

Here is a picture of my new mold, this is what I will roll slabs over. I will push down on the corners to get the post and probably manually build up the middle pegs if you look close you can see them.
